- The membership of the BDG (Bundesverband der deutschen Gießerei-Industrie = German Foundry Association), the
industry confederation of our sector, includes approximately 300 foundries making
grey-iron, spherolitic-iron, malleable, and steel castings for virtually all branches of
industry.
- Up-to-date moulding, casting, and alloying processes and technologies used by
BDG member

Customers may make use of the knowhow of our member foundries in the early stages of
product development, exploiting to the fullest extent the advantages of our casting
technology in designing and manufacturing capital goods of any kind. The foundries of
Germany aim for partnership in product development and manufacture.
CAD processes are used in designing and optimizing future castings. Sophisticated
in-process inspection and quality-control procedures support the production of castings.
